Terratrac pulls Mirage fighter planes (Switzerland)

At 01:45 on Tuesday the 27th of March 2007 on the Buochs airfield near the Lake of Lucerne, the hanger doors opened and from the dramatic, colorfully lit cloud of smoke two Mirage III RS fighter jets emerged. The planes were towed by a Terratrac Aebi TT270 and a TT240.

 

 

Traveling along the motorway, the convoy arrived safely at the new MIRAGE CENTER in Stans. The two retired fighter jets, christened "Black" and "White", are now on display as an attraction for visitors to the center.
