Single-blade snow plough
The Schmidt spring-loaded snow ploughs possess all the qualities necessary for trouble-free snow clearance in town and municipal areas as well as on country roads.
The special CP Snow plough system
As a result of the reduced use of salt for environmental reasons, the snow must be cleared much more aggressively with snow ploughs. The high torsional resistance provided by the robust box construction of the spring loaded snow plough and the high restoring force of its cutting edge via the CP system make possible this more aggressive snow clearance with downward pressure on the ground. Wherever this is not necessary, the cutting edge can be fitted with a rubber cutting edge and set in a floating position. Negotiating obstacles happens automatically without the clearing position of the plough having to be altered. The Result The special design of the shape together with the acute angle of the blade ensure that the snow is really removed – a short distance at a low clearing speed and considerably further at high speed, which is desirable if the creation of walls of snow at the roadside is more or less to be avoided.
Handling the machine
With the above-mentioned characteristics, the machine is easy to handle and makes no great demands on the staff who are working hard enough as it is on snow clearance operations.
