Compact Sweeper

In Munich, Germany, Aebi is launching the new compact street sweeping machine, the Aebi MFH5500, for use in inner-city applications. The design is based on the smaller Aebi MFH2500. A dynamic appearance is assured by the sloped cowling that rises towards the rear. The vehicle is 1.90 meters wide. The comfort cab, which is generously proportioned and modern in design, is equipped with state-of-the-art on-board electronics with a large screen that can be used to display the machine data allowing the driver to keep a permanent check on the vehicle and the status of the work in hand. A new feature is the on-board diagnostics that can be displayed on the screen. An optional extra is an air-conditioning unit that ensures optimal working conditions for the driver. Powerful drive is assured by a 3.9 l IVECO turbo diesel motor with intercooling, Unijet common rail fuel injection, Euro 5 mission standard, SCR system, a power rating of 118 kW (160 HP) and a torque of 535 Nm at 1200 r.p.m. Thus the Aebi MFH5500 is ideally and "cleanly" motorised. The reverse tipping rubbish container has a volume of 4.0 m³ und holds 810 litres of water. The chassis is equipped with highly robust axles and the 19.5" tyres ensure added driving comfort and safety. Thanks to its all wheel steering, the machine is extremely manoeuvrable. All-wheel drive is offered as an optional extra. The top speed is 50 km/h. The unique KOANDA fine dust recirculation system is fitted as standard. With this innovative technology, the Aebi MFH5500 is probably the cleanest and most modern street sweeping machine in the world.
